  • Built an open source web app with NextJS in Typescript, which allows users to record and share collections with other users and includes a number of useful tools
  • Developed a responsive UI on the Material UI component library on Material Design principles
  • Initially used Firebase RTDB for rapid and flexible development before migrating to PostgreSQL for better queries
  • Used PostgreSQL hosted by Supabase and deployed on Vercel for authentication, storage, hosting, and analytics
  • Prototyped and redesigned a new UI with Figma to improve user experience and increase engagement
  • Actively serving over 10,000 users internationally with regular updates, issue tracking, and bug fixes
  • Used AWS services (SES, S3, CloudFront) for authentication emails and image storage and delivery
  • Collaborated with other developers to fully integrate multiple other web applications into Krooster
